Archive Bits

I noticed that there were a couple public domain productions in my archive that had been abandoned, the remnants of which could be better served as more detritus floating around YouTube instead of being erased, and so:

The Master of Game (just the Foreword + Chapter One) | https://youtu.be/R-gIZpNz-A4
Details: It has been called the oldest and most important work on hunting in english from the Middle Ages. It was written between 1406 and 1413 by King Edward III's grandson Edward, second Duke of York (depicted in Shakespeare's "Richard II" as arch traitor Duke of Aumerle, Edward of Langley), though the majority of it is actually Edward's careful and almost literal translation of a book from twenty years before: the renowned Book of the Hunt by count, lord, and huntsman Gaston de Foix (also known as Gaston Phoebus) from the south of France. Detailed within are experiences, methods, and strategies regarding the hunting of rabbit, deer, wild boar, wolf, fox, badger, cat, otter and more, as well as rules for hunting dog care and maintenance. The foreword is by President Theodore Roosevelt. Originally published in New York by Duffield & Company in 1909.

The Secret Life of Salvador Dali (just the Prologue) | https://youtu.be/OyKdmA9DK1k
Details: By Salvador Dali, Translated by Haakon Chevalier, Published in 1942, copyright not renewed.
